After finding volume and mass, the next step is to find the density of the slug.
Density=(mass)/(volume)
In our example:
Density=(43.800g/5.14cm3)
Density=8.52g/cm3
You will also be required to calculate the specific gravity of your slug.
Specific Gravity=(Density)/(average density of water)
Spec. Gravity=(8.52g/cm3)/(1.80g/cm3)
Specific Gravity=4.73
